    High Contrast Sensor with 13 mm Range, IO-Link, Teach-In

    This KTX Prime contrast sensor is ideal for high-precision contrast detection, such as detecting marks on high-gloss material. Featuring an LED RGB light source and TwinEye-Technology, PNP switching, colour mode, light/dark switching, excellent grey line resolution, 7-segment display and IO-Link.

    The 10 Micro seconds response time ensures reliable and accurate detection of contrast differences, even at high machine speeds. The TwinEye-Technology provides an increased depth of field and improved performance on glossy or jittering materials. Excellent contrast resolution and a large dynamic range offer good performance on complex materials.

    Thanks to teach-in processes, integrated colour mode and variable sensor adjustment, commissioning is more flexible and the processes are more stable. Diagnostics and visualisation, as well as easy format changes can be made via IO-Link

    The high-precision contrast detection, automatic gloss adaptation for highly reflective objects, a sensing distance of 13 mm, make this contrast sensor suitable for a wide range of tasks.

    Typical applications include print mark detection for controlling cutting processes, print control in the printing industry, positioning tubes, bottle label alignment, roll end monitoring, colour control in yarn or line production.
