Hoffman's S-5000 open-style non-fused switch diskonnectors provide a premium and reliable switching capabilities. Switch bodies offer the freedom to mount switches both the switch diskonnector itself, or to the door of the enclosure it is mounted within. This S-5000 series provide the application with a direct current load-make / load-break switching between 250 to 1250 A at 1000 V dc. S-5000 series are designed to adhere to UL98B standards, for photovoltaic applications. The switch diskonnectors allow for solar integrators & OEMS to achieve 1000 V ratings according to UL1741 standard for inverters & interconnection systems. Offered in three frame sizes & current ranges to suit various installlations.
