    Description

Allen Bradley 837T Series Solid State Temperature Sensors

Allen-Bradley 837T solid-state temperature sensors offer a high-accuracy comprehensive solution for measuring temperatures in liquids, gases and vapours. The 837T display model has temperature measurement ranges from -20°C to 80°C and features IO-Link communications protocol. IO-Link allows sensors to easily integrate with the connected enterprise, delivering data from the sensor directly into a control system in an easy-to-use manner. Easy on-machine programming allows the sensors to be configured manually through the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software.

The flexible 837T sensor with display offers various process connections and features a compact, rotatable housing (320°) and head (330°) to accommodate the most complicated applications. The sensors have 2 x PNP or 1 PNP and 4 mA to 20 mA analogue output configurations, probe lengths from 25 mm to 350 mm and an IP67 enclosure rating.

Need to detect temperature changes in your industrial system? Reach for this RTD sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. It takes measurements from liquids, gases and vapours, so it's a versatile option. With its IO-Link connectivity, the unit transmits readings between your machines to give convenient data access. An easy-to-read digital display with large push button controls ensures operation is simple. As indicated by its IP67 rating, the sensor is fully protected against dust and limited shallow water submersion, so you can rely on it for use in challenging environments.

    • Sensing range between -20°C and +80°C to detect a wide temperature range
    • Resilient stainless steel casing for effective shock resistance
    • IO-Link connectivity for efficient remote data collection
    • Fitted with both digital and analogue reading outputs for compatibility with standard processing devices

    Standards and Certifications

    • UKCA-approved
    • UL-listed
    • EN 60751

What's the difference between RTD sensors and thermocouples?

Thermocouples produce temperature readings based on the voltages generated between their two metal elements. RTD sensors like this unit use resistance values recorded by their probes to calculate your fluid's temperatures.
