    Description

Allen Bradley 837T Series Solid State Temperature Sensors

Allen-Bradley 837T solid-state temperature sensors offer a high-accuracy comprehensive solution for measuring temperatures in liquids, gases and vapours. The 837T display model has temperature measurement ranges from -20°C to 80°C and features IO-Link communications protocol. IO-Link allows sensors to easily integrate with the connected enterprise, delivering data from the sensor directly into a control system in an easy-to-use manner. Easy on-machine programming allows the sensors to be configured manually through the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software.

The flexible 837T sensor with display offers various process connections and features a compact, rotatable housing (320°) and head (330°) to accommodate the most complicated applications. The sensors have 2 x PNP or 1 PNP and 4 mA to 20 mA analogue output configurations, probe lengths from 25 mm to 350 mm and an IP67 enclosure rating.

Choose this Pt1000 RTD sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range for the accurate measurement of temperatures in liquids, gases and vapours. An integrated IO-Link lets you connect the device to your control system for easy downloads, referencing and recordkeeping. You can also configure it for machine programming through the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software. The 50mm probe helps makes measurement easy in hard-to-reach spaces and the body rotates by 320° so you can take readings from all angles. This is a versatile option for use with medical equipment or in food and beverage processing plants and computer rooms.

    • Digital display for convenient readings
    • 6mm probe diameter can get into small spaces
    • Wide operating temperature range between -20°C and +80°C for use in demanding conditions
    • IP67 rating indicates the unit is dust-tight and waterproof up to one metre depth for half an hour

    Standards and Certifications

    • UKCA-conformity
    • RoHS
    • EN 60751

What does the accuracy class of an RTD sensor mean?

The accuracy of an RTD sensor refers to its temperature deviation or tolerance grade at a certain point. This device has class-A accuracy, so has a tolerance of ±0.15°C at 0°C.
