Self Monitoring N/O contact automatically closes when the contact block is correctly installed on the operator, in this condition the emergency stop N/C contact operates conventionally. If the contact block should come detached from the emergency stop body the Self Monitoring contact will open ensuring fail safe operation of the emergency stop
